Is my resume uploaded or stored?

CareerMatch is designed to analyse the resume in your browser. The website does not upload or store your resume or job description.

Is the CareerMatch match score an official ATS score?

No. The match score is a simple comparison of recognised skills between your resume and the job description. It is a preparation aid, not a hiring prediction or an official score from an applicant tracking system.

What resume file types are supported?

CareerMatch supports PDF, DOCX, and TXT resume files within the stated file-size limit shown on the analyzer.

Why might my PDF resume not work?

Scanned or image-only PDFs may not contain selectable text. If your PDF cannot be read, try a text-based PDF, DOCX, or TXT version.

Should I add every missing skill to my resume?

No. Only add skills you have genuinely learned or used. If you are currently learning a skill, describe your learning honestly through a course, project, certification, or practice.

How does resume-to-job matching work?

CareerMatch compares recognised skills and relevant terms in your resume with the job description you provide. The resulting report can help you identify areas to review before applying.

Does a high match score guarantee an interview?

No. A match score cannot predict whether an employer will contact you or offer you an interview. Hiring decisions depend on many factors, including experience, qualifications, communication, interview performance, and the employer's needs.

How should I prepare for interview questions?

Prepare genuine examples from your studies, projects, internships, work, or other relevant experiences. Practise explaining what you personally did and what you learned.
